Hello Friends of Licking Soil & Water,

Happy autumn!

STREAM TEAM: Our last training of the year will be 5:30p - 7:30p, Wednesday, September 28, at the Riverview Preserve, 375 Ohio Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.  Learn how to monitor water quality.  After training, adopt a local stream of your choice.  Registration requested.

EDUCATOR WORKSHOPS:  Project WILD (Monday, October 10) and Growing Up WILD (Friday, October 21) use age-appropriate, hands-on activities to build positive impressions and understanding of nature.  The workshops will be held 8:30a - 3:00p, at Infirmary Mound Park.  Professional Development Credit is available. Pre-registration is required.

BOARD ELECTION:  Meet our candidates. Cast an absentee ballot between October 19 and November 9, or vote in person on November 9.

VOLUNTEER RECEPTION:  Save the date.  Celebrate our volunteers and sponsors, 5:30p - 6:30p, Wednesday, November 9, at The Grove by the River, 840 Hollander Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.

ANNUAL BANQUET:  Save the date.  We’ll hold our Annual Banquet at 6:30p, Wednesday, November 9, at The Grove by the River, 840 Hollander Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.
