Pond Clinic Set for May 9
Newark, Ohio - May 6, 2016 --Licking County Soil & Water Conservation District will hold a free Pond Clinic, 6p - 8p, Monday, May 9, 2016, at the Hartford Fairgrounds Natural Resources Area, 14028 Fairgrounds Road, Croton Ohio.
Steve Fender from Fender’s Fish Hatchery will restock the pond and answer questions about pond management, fish habitat and methods for controlling aquatic vegetation.
Conservation Engineer, Justin Reinhart, from the Ohio Department of Agriculture Division of Soil & Water Conservation, will discuss technical aspects of pond construction and water and drainage management.
