Alex Anhorn, Stormwater Inspector
Alex Anhorn is one of Soil & Water’s new Stormwater Inspector. Alex was born and raised just outside of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. He developed a strong appreciation for the environment through frequent camping/fishing trips in northern Minnesota. Additionally, he enjoys hiking and playing pickup basketball in his free time.
Alex relocated to Ohio to attend Miami University in Oxford, where he recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology. During school, he had the opportunity to complete multiple internships with the City of Chanhassen, Minnesota. There, he gained experience in environmental compliance and water resources management.
Alex will be assisting with urbanized communities’ stormwater requirements, inspecting erosion and sediment control measures on construction sites, helping landowners with questions and concerns on their land and working with various committees and partnering organizations.
