Chris Crawford, Program Manager

Chris Crawford is a long time resident of the City of Pataskala. He developed an early interest in natural resources and conservation through time spent outdoors, where he became curious about how nature works. That interest led to a career focused on understanding, protecting, and managing natural resources. Chris earned his B.S. in Natural Resource Management from The Ohio State University and has built a career around using data and analysis to improve how communities manage their natural resources.

Chris currently serves as a Program Manager, where he focuses on growing, maintaining, and managing programs to help conserve our precious natural resources.  Over the years, he's developed a strong foundation in interpreting complex data, organizing projects, and helping teams make informed, practical decisions about our resources. He has contributed to various regional efforts that aim to improve water sustainability and compliance. Chris has also participated in collaborative work with local and state agencies, emphasizing solutions that are both technically sound and community-oriented.

He’s especially passionate about helping others understand the importance of natural resource planning and enjoys connecting technical data to everyday impacts. Chris continues to work toward helping communities prepare for the future by improving programs, policies and connecting people to the outside world.
