LCSWCD @ STEMFest at the Works
The Works will be open Saturday & Sunday February 16 & 17 from Noon-4PM to host STEMfest! Free and open to the public, STEMfest! features an Industry & Education Showcase, where youth can engage in hands-on exploration of the career and education opportunities in our community. Explore the museum at no charge and visit the booths of community organizations where guests are shown how science, technology, engineering, and math are applied within their industry through fun hands-on activities. The event engages middle school and high school youth in design-based problem solving challenges with a variety of disciplines that relate to what scientists and engineers encounter every day in their careers. During STEMfest!, teams of students from middle and high schools across central Ohio present their findings to the STEMfest! Problem Solving Challenge they chose to explore.
