Downtown Newark Association STEM Final Friday
Visit Soil & Water and explore where worms live at the Worm Tunnel!
S.T.E.M. is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.
What is STEM on the Square?
It's a collaboration of community partners from Licking County and offering hands-on opportunities for local students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Students will have an opportunity to interview professionals about careers and learn more about STEM.
