Pond Clinic and Fish Sale Order Deadline
Learn all about ponds!
Tayler Coy of Soil & Water, will cover future and current projects being done at the Hartford Fairgrounds Natural Resource Pond to enhance the fish population and overall health of the pond. Also, cover pond considerations and tools you can use to find out if you have the right location for a pond.
Steve Fender from Fenders Fish Hatchery will provide information about fish stocking, fish habitat, wildlife, methods to control aquatic vegetation and provide insight on how to maintain a healthy pond.
Rachel Crow from ODA will be available to discuss considerations of building a new pond and dams.
Soil & Water will be taking orders for our Fish Sale at the clinic since orders are due April 28.
Clinic will be hosted at a pond at Hartford Fairgrounds Natural Resources Area, 14028 Fairgrounds Road, Hartford, OH, signs will be posted.
In the case of inclement weather, the clinic may be rescheduled or cancelled.
