Discover the tools, timing, and techniques needed to successfully transform large plots of turf grass or agricultural fields into thriving wildflower meadows for monarchs and other pollinators. Join biologists from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as they demonstrate the same habitat restoration methods they employ on thousands of acres across Ohio. This hands-on demonstration will take place on a large patch of turf next to the Licking Soil & Water Conservation District office, which is being restored as pollinator habitat through the Meadows for Monarchs Project.
This event is in conjunction with the Master Gardeners Learning Garden Open House Event.
