Linda Nicodemus, Stormwater Manager

Linda is a lifelong resident of Licking County. She grew up in Buckeye Lake and enjoyed being around water, playing outdoors, fishing, exploring and bike riding. She has always liked working and helping others just as she saw her Mom doing. Linda graduated from Lakewood High School and Licking County Joint Vocational School in Graphic Communications. She earned a National  Stormwater Inspector certification and a FEMA CRS Coordinator's certification.

Linda worked for the Village of Hebron for 21.5 years and became their Stormwater Coordinator in 2010.  In 2013, additional tasks were Community Development Coordinator and Floodplain Administrator. She was asked to serve on the River Roundup Committee with Licking County Soil & Water and she began to see the issues and problems in our rivers and streams. Linda also serves as a Member of the Ohio Floodplain Managers Association Board.

In 2015, she was appointed as a Director of the South Licking Watershed Conservancy District by the South Licking Watershed Conservancy Court. Helping our community better maintain and protect our waterways. As a Director, she's a member of the Ohio Silver Jackets Team. This interagency team is dedicated to working collaboratively with the Federal, State and appropriate stakeholders in developing and implementing hazard mitigation actions that leverage available agency resources, which include funding, programs, and technical expertise. 

Linda joined the Licking County Soil & Water Conservation District in September of 2022 and is enjoying the team. Broadening the team's technical assistance and expertise in conservation best management practices to help the County with stormwater compliance as the county grows.
